Our mission is to help you achieve a lifetime of health and fitness. We take a long-term approach towards your overall wellbeing. No fad diets or excessive workout plans. It's about staying healthy and whole over the long run and creating a balanced, simple and effective plan that enables you maintain your health goals while enjoying life. We were meant to eat to live, not live to eat. Therefore, diet and fitness should be secondary to LIVING LIFE.
For the most part, every diet book out there comes to the same conclusion: eat more vegetables, fruits and whole grains and get some exercise. So if we all know this, what is the problem? Time? Motivation? Support? Hope? Convenience? All of the above to some degree for most of us. For me, it's time and convenience. After a long day at work and driving for 45 minutes in traffic, I prefer a nap to grocery shopping and cooking. Not to say I have time for a nap, but if I had the time, I would definitely choose the nap over cooking a meal. Soooo, what do we do? Fast food? Leftovers (if we're lucky enough to have time on the weekend to cook)? Canned/Pre-made packaged Food? How healthy are these for you? If you're like most of us, probably not the healthiest choices.
What about exercise? What about life balance and rest? How do we fit these together into our busy lives? Prosperity Health & Fitness Plans takes a holistic and biblical approach to health and fitness. We share articles about Nutrition, Recipes, Fitness Workouts, Rest and Relaxation. We have a page the shares what the Bible has to say about our health and fitness. We believe in God first, People second, then Food and Fitness. We need inspiration and motivation to stay on track with our goals.
That is why we have created this website. Members can come together to share their ideas, stories and encouragement via our forum pages. Through our local meetup groups, members can join together to trade meal days, join hikes, walks, workouts together or just get together to inspire each other.
